It was just a balanced option for resting at all in Blandford Forum with good value. Staff were really accommodating, especially with my son running around. Prices for food and drinks are a bit high, so budget accordingly.

Great location, spacious room and a boot room which was a lifesaver in the awful weather. Breakfast was to die for, piping hot and used fresh local ingredients.
It wasn't inexpensive but still acceptable considering the quality.

Charming pub experience
We had such a lovely stay! The food was super tasty and beautifully presented, really hit the spot. Plus, the staff were super friendly and attentive. The only slight bummer was the pub being a bit out of the way, but the peaceful countryside made it worth it. Also loved the breakfast options!
